Rafael and Juliana


Juliana Lima & Rafael Pitarello started to dance in 2008, learning the Brazilian Social Dance styles: Samba de Gafieira, Bolero, Forro and Soltinho (Danca de Salao).  In 2009, aiming to study and practice in addition to the dance classes they did they began to train weekly, especially Samba de Gafieira.
Since then, they’ve been teaching and performing in different events in Brazil and Australia, they were also the first place in the Swing do Black Samba de Gafieira 2015 championship – Sao Paulo edition. In the last few years, they’ve been also focusing on improving and spreading their knowledge about Brazilian Zouk.
In 2016, they moved to Brisbane Australia and started teaching at Rio Rhythmics Latin Dance Academy,  sharing their love for Brazilian culture through dance.
