Casa do Zouk is a Brazilian Zouk Dance Council (“BZDC”) Registry Event. As such, points are awarded to the winners and place getters (and possibly finalists) of our Jack & Jill Competitions. The BZDC records and tracks every competitor and these points are used to identify the category a person should compete in. There must be a minimum of five couples per category for points to be recorded.
Points will be recorded and tracked as follows:
Tier/# of Competitions | 1st Place | 2nd Place | 3rd Place | 4th Place | 5th Place | Additional |

Tier 1 = 5-15 | 5 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 0 |

Tier 3 = 40+ | 15 | 12 | 10 | 8 | 6 | 1 point all finalists |
Jack & Jill competitions are designed to highlight skills in social Brazilian Zouk dancing and the ability to dance well with a variety of partners. Competitors enter as individuals, are randomly assigned partners and dance to music selected by the DJ. Please check BZDC Competitors Guidelines and Rules before entering the competition.
